2017 Happiness-at-Work Award

CORChanging our Organization through Respect | Changer notre organisation par le respectis an initiative of ADM Jennifer Hollington, recognizing people who make the federal public service a better place. I was fortunate to have been selected as the recipient of the 2017 COR Happiness-at-Work Award.

(via Jennifer Hollington):
When I launched this year’s Happiness-at-Work Award as the Canada 150 Edition, I wondered whether setting a goal of 150 nominees was overly ambitious. Well, if you’ve been tracking the nominations over the past few months and my periodic updates, you know that we more than reached that goal. In fact, we finished with 173 nominees.
The response was truly overwhelming: more than 430 different people nominated colleagues, casting more than 500 votes. What a great way to celebrate Canada 150—by recognizing so many of the people who make a positive impact on their fellow public servants.
It gives me great pleasure to announce this year’s winner of the Happiness-at-Work Award: the remarkable Todd Lyons. Known for being an active member of the GCconnex community and the host of Toddcast.
Thank you, Jennifer, and thanks also to the 60 colleagues who nominated me for the award.
